Personal Data which this Application collects include Usage Data, e-mail information (if you provide your e-mail address), camera permission and location data while using the App with location services enabled. The Personal Data is freely provided by the User, and in case of Usage Data is automatically collected while using the App. Providing data is not mandatory within the App and failure to provide it will not make it impossible for the App to provide its services. However, only when providing e-mail address and name, user can unlock full data functionality within the field of player ranking in the “Scavenger Hunts” section.
Civitavecchia App collects minimum data which is not treated as unique identifier for a certain person (direct or indirect). This is so because no entered data requires any kind of confirmation, meaning that this data is depersonalized from the very start. In addition, no data which could connect phone with a person (IMEI or mac) is not stored.
2. Methods and Place of Processing Collected Data
We process the Personal Data of our users in a proper manner and take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data. The data processing is carried out using our IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to this, in some cases, data might be accessible to certain persons in charge of administration, sales, marketing, legal or system administration. For further information, please contact Swiss Innovation Lab AG (email@example.com) and we’ll get back to you.
The Data is processed at the Data Controller’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved with the processing are located.
c.) Retention Time
The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service to the User, and the User can always request that Swiss Innovation Lab suspends or remove the data by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
We will respond to your request within 30 days.
3. Third party notification
Push notifications from third parties can be sent to the Users of the App if they allowed notifications for the App.
4. Device Permissions for Personal Data Access
This App will request certain permissions in order to access the User’s device Data. By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or go directly to App’s settings. Permissions requested by the App include enabling notifications, location services and granting camera access.
The exact procedure for controlling App permissions may be dependent on the User’s device and software. Please note that granting these permissions is not obligatory, but has an impact of the proper functioning of certain App features.
a.) Camera Permission
This App requests access to camera for using the Augmented Reality feature. Data from User’s Camera is not sent to Data Controllers data centre or to any 3rd party operator.
5. Information not contained in this policy
Please feel free to contact us on email@example.com for obtaining more details concerning the collection or processing of Personal Data.
6. The Rights of Users
Users have the right, at any time, to know whether their Personal Data has been stored and can consult us to learn about their contents and origin, to verify their accuracy or to ask for them to be supplemented, cancelled, updated or corrected, or for their transformation into anonymous format or to block any data held in violation of the law, as well as to oppose their treatment for any and all legitimate reasons. Requests should be send to us at the contact information set out above, and will be given to user in no more than 30 days.
7. Protection of User’s Personal Data
The personal information that you provide in connection with the use of this App is protected. However, please note that App only stores data which unambiguously identifies its installation, but not the owner and his/hers device. Name, nickname and e-mail do not have to match user’s personal information because they are not being verified at any point. Stored data is paired with installation identificator, which means that reinstallation or removing the App from the phone irretrievably means lost connection with the App. Users activities that are stored are exclusively linked with Scavenger Hunt Activities (time of start and end of a quiz and its results – to be used for players ranking). This information can be erased if the user requests so by sending a written statement to firstname.lastname@example.org
8. Protection of Children’s Personal Data
Minimum age for using the App without parental consent is 16 years. If a parent or guardian of younger user consents with his/hers usage of the App, they must send a written and signed statement to email@example.com in order for us process young user’s personal data lawfully. If a parent/guardian suspects that his/hers child under the age of 16 has entered Personal information, they should contact us on above mentioned e-mail address to have the data removed and terminate child’s account.
